Introduction

St Minver School Remote Learning Information

This academic year 2021-2022, we need to be prepared as a community for periods of time when individual children must learn remotely from home.

We will respond to the ongoing challenges of Covid 19 by adhering closely to Government guidelines, while continuing to develop a purposeful curriculum which will be accessible to al learners at all times.

In the event of a covid-related absence, it is critical that all children continue to make progress and to build on learning undertaken at school in t. We believe continuous engagement with remote learning will not only protect attainment and achievement, but will also help to maintain relationships and protect well-being during the times when we need to be apart.

Children in Class R and Year 1 will access learning through Tapestry, while learners in Years 2 to 6 will do so through Google Classroom.

It is our expectation that all children learning from home, just like those learning at school, will access these platforms daily.

We will continue to support families with this engagement and we will monitor participation and provide support wherever this is needed.

Teachers will continue to plan and provide sequenced learning and to provide feedback, guidance and encouragement to children at home.

Parents can log into their child's learning platform via the 'Child Login' button on this website's home page and can access support if needed from Aspire's IT helpdesk using the link below.
