What wonderful discussion about our class book for this half term! We only looked at the front cover and read the blurb!
Using '5 Speckled Frogs' to help us with our maths this week. We recorded how many were left in a 5 frame.
Practical maths and then starting with some formal recording.
And using our pictorial representations!
We are using 'Starry Night' by Vincent Van Gogh as our art stimulus this half term. We have looked at the way he created the sky.
We have been using different tools to create the swirls and the short lines to create the same sky effect.
We have also tested out using chalks and paints.
Down the road, across the fields, over the bridge, on the beach and into the church... Big Adventures with little Class R feet!

And after testing, discussing, designing and writing materials lists we then got to create our space toys!
