Welcome to the Summer Term in Cowrie Class. In the first half of the term we will be exploring the world of minibeasts within the topic 'How do your legs help you?' We will investigate rhyme using the text 'Oi Frog' by Kes Gray and explore 'The Snail' creation by Matisse through our artwork.
During the second half of the Summer Term our topic is called 'In a land far away...'. We will read texts such as 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and 'The Smartest Giant in Town', plant giant sunflowers and find out about giant creatures both current and extinct! We will also start to prepare for our move into Year 1 and learn about how we are growing and changing.
