At St Minver School, we aim to provide a curriculum which:
- gives our children the confidence to dream big, to become world changers not world followers.
- celebrates Cornwall as our home, engendering an appreciation for our unique heritage.
- helps pupils to gain an understanding of their place within the wider world beyond their community and to stimulate curiosity and acceptance of diversity.
The National Curriculum provides us with the building blocks for our curriculum and our subject pages will tell you more about how we implement this across the school in order to equip all children with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful citizens of the workplace and of our world.
From September 2022, our curriculum for Years 4, 5 and 6 will be on a rolling two year cycle to take account of our mixed age classes. In 2022-2023, we will deliver Cycle One.
If you require further information about our curriculum, please do contact the school.
