At St Minver School, we believe that Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education, including Relationships and Sex Education (RSE), plays a vital role in preparing pupils for life in modern Britain. Through a safe, supportive and inclusive curriculum, pupils develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to build positive relationships, make informed choices and look after their physical and mental wellbeing.
Our PSHE and RSE curriculum helps pupils develop confidence, resilience and emotional literacy while fostering respect for themselves and others. Through exploring themes such as health, wellbeing, relationships, diversity, citizenship and personal safety, pupils learn how to navigate an increasingly complex world with confidence and compassion. Guided by our school values of Courage, Commitment, Connection, Community, Creativity and Compassion, we aim to develop responsible, respectful and reflective citizens who are well prepared for their future lives.
